Hey all, I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but it seems right. Here's my question: Where can I find an adaptor that will allow me to hook my cell phone's headset jack into a sound board? I hate when I've got my headphones on or I'm chatting on Skype, when I have to go and take it all down to use my phone. I've got a twenty channel mixing board (Mackie 1402 VLZ Pro for all you recorders out there), so the I/Os aren't a problem, I just wanna find this kind of connector.

I tried just hacking my headset, and it's got that stupid wire which is like fiber and you cant just solder or hardwire it- means not only could i not mod it, now it's broken! :waah: Very sad. Gotta get a new one tomorow. But yeah, I searched google for a while and nothing I saw seemed to be the right kinda thing... and help would be appreciated..

    Cure for Cell Phone Blues

I had a similar problem that you have with a cell phone and I have the same Mackie 1402-VLZ Mixer. I built a custom Interface box to connect a mixer to a cell phone with a standard headset jack. I can run my cell thru my DJ Setup and talk, and jam out to ring-tones, as well. Ring-tones sound much better on BIG Speakers.

Here is a diagram that I made.
    Hope this Helps
