I just installed Vista on one of my SATA drives using a Syba SD-SATA150R controller; it uses the Sil3512 chip. Since Vista wouldn't recognize the SATA drives when installing off the DVD, I installed to my PATA drive first, then installed to the SATA drive from there. Now, I want to format the PATA drive, but I can't because it's the "system" (boot) volume for Windows.

    What can I do?
