I'm in the USA. Where can I get those thingies that change laptop IDE drives over to ATX? I'm building a PC inside a PS2 case and dont have to room for a real drive. I'm going to put a DVD-ROM in there from a laptop. What are those converter things called and where do i get 'em? I dont need one for a hard drive as im gonna use a real IDE har drive
Here is the one for the hdd. I actually had it bookmarked i was going to put a laptop hdd in my desktop for a project i was doing, but i scraped the project. they also have one to convert a laptop cd rom dvd or cdrw drive to work on a desktop. i bought one of those and it works great. it even has the thing you connect to your sound card for the audio out. you can find that here. if you dont want to pay $18+shipping, maybe i can sell you the one i have.
