does anyone know if there is a way in windows 2000 to create a "shortcut" to change resolutions. I'm thinking somthing along the lines of a batch file or two that sit on my desktop so that I can easily switch between my normal res' of 1024x768 and 640X480 when i'm watching video fullscreen(lower res' = less magnification = less pixilation[SP?])

I don't know about a batch file, but here's a handy little program that sits in your system tray and will switch between two pre-set resolutions when you double click the icon: http://quickres.frix.se/default.asp?f1_cat=1. Should do what you want fine. :thumb:
