actually what lazy said was a good idea but broadcase over cb radio, i think the licence to transmit is only £15 & you can pick up a cb radio cheap, each of us is responsable for one days transmission /me scurrys off to see if he can find his old cb radio
It is completely pointless trying to persuade someone to like a different type of music. Everyone’s tastes are different - you like what you like and you hate what you hate. Just cos some says one type of music is cool wont make you like it any more. Personally I like Dance/Trance music even some of the commercial stuff. Can’t stand rock/thrash/metal/indie all stuff using real instruments and lyrics - it doesn’t matter if what they put out is cr@p. Especially screaming electric guitar - ahhhhhhhhhhhh I couldn’t care less who wrote the song/tune or what instruments they use real or electronic, all I care about is what it sounds like and can I move to it in a club.
well buy a cb radio, rig up the input to you sound cards headphone out & take up a frequencey, as long as you get a bit of paper for £15 its totally legal im tempted to do it myself but the ex-navy aerial my parents have for the cb'radios we have would draw attention
Elvis is kool!! but me is more into Gothic Rock/Industrial/Metal - Not all this rubbishy metal thats in the charts!!!! SlipKnot cannot sing!
some of elvi's music really ****es me off, some times i really dont get how he got to be the king of rock and roll, "uh huh, bum la, jum, muu huh, uh huh, zum hum, dum" sometimes a song can go on like that with me not having a damn clue what he is saying. but then again some of his songs are wicked, and his films arent bad too
lmao, you guys slay me, you really do. Maybe you'd like to get out your zimmers and join everyone else at the nursing home, and talk about how all the modern music is just noise. Not like the old days. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T LISTEN TO IT!
I can't NOT listen to it at work. That's my only gripe. I don't sit at home listening to the radio whinging about it. I have to sit at work for 8 hours straight listening to the same songs repeated over and over within a 2 hour time frame. Said songs are pants IMO and highly repetitive. Except for Vanessa Carlton, she r0x0rz.
bradford010 : that was a bloody stupid thing to say bro, obviously if we dont like it we wont listen to it, its just damn hard to avoid it sometimes. Your in the gym and they start playing the "pop" rubbish (dont say change gyms). You cant really avoid it, it was bareable before, but now with the continuous remaking of the stuff like pop world, looks like we will never really have a "free" choice.
Don't think so, m8. If it really offends you that much, maybe you need to chill out a little. Oh, and wear headphones.
the wear headphones troubles me, im an audiophile (well as much as a skint peron can be, im not goign top spend over £80,000 on a linn 2 channel system, if i had the money yes cos that stack system is fantastic) so the only headphones i own are a big pair of technics with 3m of cable, not exaclty portable & i look a total tit wearing them (no jokes about no change from my usual appearence) unfortunatelt lads this may be somethign we have to live with until pop saturates the market & rock makes a comeback, its a known fenomenon, pop outsells itself & saturates the market so rock makes a sudden very sharp surge in popularity but it dissapreas back to usuall pretty quick as well /me goes hunting his copys of what hifi looking for audiophile in ear headphones
..............& the award for someone who makes less sense than samuelellis on the bit forums (& that aint easy) is .............................bradford010 sorry mate couldent resist but your post makes no sense
LMFAO, maybe before your time, kids. Do a little google for 'PWEI pop will eat itself'. In fact, I would recommend you nip down HMV and look it up.
lmao Anyhow, grin and bear it, some pop is good, other pop (99% of it) is pure tripe, Something we have to live with isint it
