I've been planning a bare steel case for a while and i wanted my chassis to match the colour of the steel of my case. I was wondering if anyone knew of a product that could give this kind of effect, and where i could get some from (in the uk). I've had a pretty hard search over the forums, but i'll apologise now if this q has come up before :)

    Cheers,

Not sure exactly what you mean by bare steel are you talking about shining Steel or more of a grey dull looking steel. I would say that you can always spray paint it whatever color suits you best or if you have an air brush you could do some cool effects such as black with a glossy metal and spray it down a bit then spray the tips a bit thicker to add a lighting effect on the spray paint.

Again though I have no clue what your exactly asking maybe you could show a sample of the color you are talking about?

sorry, i mean the colour of the steel thats underneath the beige, i'd like to get my chassis to have a similar colour to that.

There's a few "bare steel" cases in the project logs.
I'll get a pic of one up when i'm not dashing out :)
