What the case will be used for is to house my Home server (Samba, print, streaming media, etc) and its multiple hdds. Therefore i need something big enough to house it, like the case this thread is based off of... I was looking at a 4U case and a 20U rack, or just DIY'ing a rack, but im lazy link plz? any thoughts?
Google? How many drives are you actually talking about? Surely a tall case, armed with a few of those 4-in-3 bay jobbies would work perfectly well? I could fit 18 hard drives into my big tower chieftec case without moving beyond proper drive racks... I'm sure you can find something.
right now about 4x1TB, but I will be adding some more when i get enough money ill be putting enough HDDs for a sturdy Raid 5 array of around 5-10TBs...
