Build Advice Cheap Build

    Hey all,

    New here. I was wonderin can anyone build me a cheap base pc. Around £200-300. Just using for streaming videos that is all. Won't need a big HD at all. Thanks

    What are you after? Just motherboard, CPU, memory? Graphics? Case?

    for this price range you are looking at a consumer desktop or laptop. unless you want Windows 7 RC1 until march. then something basic like an AMD 760/ 780 chipset. would be perfect

    AMD 780G motherboard, Athlon II X2 250, 4GB of DDR2, Corsair CX400W PSU and a 250GB hard drive with an Antec 300 should do you nicely :)

    From the pictures on eBuyer's website it looks like it will fit just fine. :)

    i've got a spare optical drive already thanks.
    So abit isn't gd.

    PSU: The Corsair CX400W will be good.
    RAM: 4GB anything corsair will do, 2x2gb.
    HDD: Any SATA drive really, 500gb = £40.
