basically i'm looking for a place to stay in feb - booking in on the 18th and leaving on the 20th looking for a place that isn't *too* dingy...for 2 people £96 is the cheapest so far :/ *n
a bed and breakfast would do, actually...as long as they don't mind us any locals got some numbers? ta *n
i'll look into it tomorrow for you... thing is... being local I don't tend to stay in hotels here... bizare ain' it? there's that hotel that's near the train station just over the bridge... and there's the moathouse or whatever it's called...
There are plenty of B&Bs on Mansfield Rd which is about 10-15mins walk from the City Centre - basically staggering distance after a night out passed a few kebab houses. You can find a room for a couple of nights from between £15-£35 a night depending if you want the breakfast. Ive stayed at the paramount hotel (has its own tandoori restaurant - how many hotels can say that!) Bit run down but clean enough and cheap enough. But there are nicer places but they are at the top end prices. Search in the yellow pages. But Mansfield road will be your best bet for cheap rooms Or thinking about it, 'the stage hotel' which is by goose fair park. A little closer to town by about 4 mins
theres a pretyt much brand new travellers rest as well, near shakespear stree, just down from my college! that outta be pretty cheap, because its in teh "student area" of town. Obviously aiming to target young people coming to the uni for a few days
