    Hi,

Looking at getting a cheap laptop to play a little bit of Civ V/FM13 whilst working away from home.

Can anyone suggest anything? Ideally less than £300 but I know that may not be possible. I have put up a wanted thread also but wondered if there was anything new/refurb that might be available.

Due to data costs in France I can't browse for laptops like I would on a fixed connection.

Thanks in advance for the help, Trev.

Any ideas if a Lenovo G580/S400 would work with FM13 and Civ 4 or 5?

Civ 5 requires a beefy system to run cleanly if you take the map size passed small most laptops will struggle.

Fm2013 as long as its 1 country you will be fine.

I thought that'd be the case for Civ V :( I'll just have to roll back to IV whilst away.
