here's some paints i used and the cost in $AU uv acrylic: bargain shop, craft section $3 a tube (acrylic glows best) uv enamel: hobby shop $2 (not as glowy) Spray enamel: hardware All need to be applied to a white base or bare metal surface for max GLO POWER and the GLORY
i have something similar but the bottles are much smaller and more expencive. im betting its enamel based because its in glass bottles and i have yet to see acrylic come in any kind of glass container. what do you think?
yep, i reckon enamels only come in glass because there oil based and wouldn't like plastic. i've found that enamels apply smoother to a larger surface than acrylics, but don't glow as well. enamels were used on molex boots and cpu fan. acrylic on heatsink tips and mbd components. http://pcdb.overclockers.com.au/view.php?name=THW01F&page=pics
that looks sweeeeeeeeet! reminds me of those really old style haxx0r films. "omg, i'm hacking the main frame" *types frantically* "oh no, he's got me" etc you get the idea
Tron? Sorry for the post, I just like making any references to that movie (even if hardly applicable). Again, Sorry. -Neil.
