I am looking to buy a Black Dragon (no PSU) and the cheapest place I can find it is Tekheads for £69.33 inc VAT. Anyone else know anywhere cheaper?

If you want the dragon without PSU it does seem that www.overclock.co.uk is the right place to get it.

But, if you DO want a power supply, namely the 340W chieftec one, then the cheapest place to get this case is www.komplett.co.uk. I got my blue dragon with 340W supply from them for £93.99 inc VAT and delivery. Overclock want £113.92 for the same thing (again, inc VAT and delivery).

Komplett's advantage on the Black dragon is much less (they only charge £3 extra for the coloured versions, and the coloured ones come with the blowhole with fan on the side), but it's about £90 vs. £102.17 for the black case. Again, this is WITH the 340W PSU. Komplett don't supply the case without a PSU.

Yikes, we don't know that. We all live in the UK and there are only ever really a handful of suppliers of a lot of things, but the USA is Huuuuuge....

there will undoubtably be looads of suppliers...and we don't normally buy from any of them....(except may pcmods and caseetc)

No mate we will try to help, but I can honestly I have never compared hardware prices for various US based companies for the following reasons:

    1) It will be too depressing (stateside u pay so much less for everything, where as we are in 'ripoff' britain :()

    2) Anything we wanted from ths US needs to be imported at h00ge expense (especially the tax our side of the pond)

yeap that is true, though I am afraid I have never bought anything form the US as its just to inconvenient and difficult, so looking is kinda pointless
No m8 feel free to stay, this might be bit-tech.net but bit-tech is in fact based in the UK, and only ever get stuff from the US if it is very rare (not available here), very 1337, and usually very expensive!

    :)

P.S. Chieftec.com will sell direct to the consumer in the US at reasonable prices!

    Yikes?!

Man, you won't be saying that when you get it...You'll be marvelling at the VFM, especially whenever you try to move the thing....seriously, it must weigh 30% as much again as my AOpen HX08 full tower, despite being smaller than the AOpen.

In my opinion though, with the komplett prices, the blue and silver versions are better VFM, due to the side hole and fan and paint job for only £3 extra, although it is about £10 extra from overclock.

I paid £112 all in for mine with a 340w PSU, so £66 inc vat and delivery is a v good price!

    :)

you must have heard of it by now. very good site covering many different types of hardware, software, and more. i didint get any hits on searching in cases for the word dragon, but it has many aliases, you should try all of those.
