    Hey guys:)

I'm buying a new mobo for my pc off these forums so i can finally overclock!
Currently i have some random crappy HSF that came with the pc.
I know the titan fenrir is the bee's knees so to speak but is there anything cheaper that is pretty good?
Space shouldn't be an issue (case is HAF 922)

Also which thermal paste do you recomend? Or do HSF's come with thermal paste? (i've never bought one)

    Cheers:D

i agree, the arctic cooling freezer 7 pro is the way to go as there aren't many HSF's in the gap between the said cooler and the fenrir. i own a freezer 7 pro for my i5 750 and it keeps it at a very comfortable 32c.

as for themal paste i would go with arctic silver. i used it on two of the systems i built and it provides very good results.

I use an Arctic Freezer Pro on both an AMD Phenom II x4 and an i5, they are very quiet, efficient, and good at cooling. Can be a pain to fit if your mobo is already in the case. Comes with thermal paste prefitted.

The Akasa AK-965 is also worth a look, it performs just as well as the Freezer 7 Pro but for cheaper. Prices could have levelled out since I bought mine though.
