Wow! For some reason I thought that was a render at first. Someone answer this though: What is supposed to be so cool looking about sleeving individual power cables? Just my opinion, but it looks so messy. Excellent worksmanship though.
1. Makes cable routing a LOT easier than bunched-up cables. 2. YMMV, but most people like the way they look Oh, and I really, REALLY, like that case.
Similar concept to the Thermaltake Level 10 shown at Computex. Article I've seen a few of these "Vertical Trunk" cases in the past. Nice change of pace. Now if someone would do one in wood.
It is indeed very similar to the Thermaltake case, but most don't realize the mod was actually built in 2006, and just recently updated. So, the Level 10 is a copy of Edelwiess...
LOL I thought I had seen Edelweiss before. Case manufacturers don't often have original ideas (if ever).
@ stuartwood - I like the individual cables when done neatly. if they're flopping around, I can see why you think they're messy... but in this case they are all neatly and flatly aligned, which is cool to me! I've been seeing a lot of this mod around recently. I just have some questions that I don't get on the case, and the only things I can find on MDPC to link to a log are in German, and unlike our multilingual, multitalented community members here, I can't sprechen ze Deutch! See the 2 metal bits on the lower corner? What are those for? Looking at other pics, I see nothing connected (I'd thought headphones and mic originally.) I get that the one on the back is a compression fitting for a drainage loop (I think... but it's coming direct to input on the pump?... is that right?) Regardless, I really like the unique design and sweet look of this mod.
