Modding checkerplate like materieal?

while looking at mods at bit-tech.net i noticed a cool item that was used a lot it is this fake checkerplate like materieal. i am looking for where to buy the checkerplate like materieal that the battlefield 2 logo is on.

Its probably 2 or 3mm checkerplate, you can get it in B&Q and places like that I think.

 

Try halfords you live in canada It is called checkerplate, or if it has groups of four stripes (where that picture has groups of two) it;s sometimes called diamond plate.

ok but i woulden't mind ordering off the internet or international but i have seen ( on the ammobox pc's) a version with a sticky backing and i'd really like to find some anyone know anyone who might know where to get some???

i have found out that most of the stuff on the roll is supplied by suppliers of landrover parts suppliers. also does anyone have a brand name of one of the checkerplate?
