**This is not an attempt to launch an e-peen thread** Can some of you thoroughly decent chaps/chapettes, who own an overclocked 670, run a Unigine Heaven test and report back with your score? Test based on these settings (Bit-tech's standard benchtest settings) My reason? At stock clocks my 670 hit nowhere near the 1732 bit-tech managed (it was around 50 points lower! ), but maxes out with a score of 1925. Despite Heaven supposedly being GPU-centered, it is affected by CPU/speed, so if you could mentioned which CPU and speed I'd be grateful. I'd also be interested in the stock scores from reference cards, if anyone has them. Best regards Dave
Yes, I believe it is an average - that's how I tested mine. It seems to overclock reasonably well - surpassing the stock score of the 680, but I was surprised to be 50 points shy of the 670 score at stock; which is why I was looking for some comparison scores.
I did run the test and it burned out my ASUS GTX 670 so thanks for that! On the Gigabyte GTX 670 alone it scored 1880, although my stock is overclocked compared to regualr GTX 670 anyway!
Cheers, Blogins. You killed a card? Thankz, Mankz. It wasn't too far away then - my reference card managed 1865, overclocked; before I tried the BIOS volt-mod to get 1925. I'd also be interested in the stock scores from reference cards, if anyone has them. I ought to stick that in the OP really.
I didn't, it died all by itself! During the benchmark the screen went blank and there was a strong electrical burning smell. Fortunately it was just the ASUS GTX 670 that was burning. Just the fuss of going through the RMA process, fortunately I bought it from a top Bit-Techer who is going out of his way to help me process the RMA!
At the settings you posted, running just one of my EVGA 670s at 1294MHz gives an average over 3 runs of 1886.
Epic core speed, Pookey, although I would have thought that kind of clock would give a much higher score. What memory speed are you running? I hit 1925 avg, with a 1160 core and +625 on the memory.
Ahh.. my memory wasn't that high. I was using my 24/7 OC. I just thought the OP wanted a comparison. If this was a benchmark thread I'd have punished the memory more
