It's also a bit crappy. The plastic top (and particular those barbs) look rather fragile, and I doubt it can be used on anything but a proprietary Coolermaster Aquagate setup.

You can get ones that are a block on either side of the HDD and they connect together at the end. Should be cheaper than a full Aquadrive or similar.

Or the 3.5" backpack version, only problems are they're not cheap. Maybe the Koolance backpack HDD cooler with the 'koolpack' baggy thing (hrmm), those look cheap, but I would be afraid of the baggy popping

They are cheap. The bag itself is pretty sturdy, but they often leak around the fittings.

I have a severe, and irrational dislike of 3.5" backpack HD blocks, especially if they involve a bag!

Get some 15mm copper pipe, 2x copper elbows, and some 2mm thick copper bar (2x6" long - two sides, 1" wide * number of drives)

Drill 6x 3mm holes in the bar, lining up with the ones on the drive.
solder the pipe to the elbows, then also the bar.

Hmm... that one's actually a good idea, but I don't see any screwholes to mount it into the case. I may have to try that though.... I just need a massive slab of copper and about 25093 hours to cut it.

Yeah, I haven't decided how I'm going to mount it in the case yet. As it's rather heavy, I'll probably find a way to attach it to the bottom of the case. Even so, I'd still like to make a quick release system.

With mine, I put some bubblewrap/foam on top of my dvd drive, and sat it ontop. Doesnt look great but it works very well.
