    Cherry MX brown switches are marketed as non-clicky but, they are far from quiet.

    True. I wonder if they've gimped them with o-rings or landing pads? Still won't make them quiet, and defeats the object of mech switches.

    Why would you want to make them quiet??? For me at least 50% of the pleasure of the MX range is that they sound mechanical as well as the feel!

    If silence is important then chiclets are not going to be beaten.

    I like my keyboard just as it is, complete with the noise but, the MSI advert seems to be implying that MX Brown switches are quiet.

    It's definitely strange marketing. Browns, in many cases, are louder than blues. It's all dependant on the board, keycaps, desk, typist...
