Tale Gunner... Sorry to hear about your thumb. I took a chunck out of my index finger with the table saw working on the WorldMap. Took 2 stiches from the emergency room.

Hope you feel better and your thumb heals quickly.

Yes ouch. The chisel went in about 3/8" with the cut over 1". Lots of red goo came out. LOL but I will be back in the fold ASAP. Maybe not working on the panels but everything else.

Thanks Pfaffen. I will continue as long as I don't overwork that thumb. Glad to see it didn't tear you up too bad. Thats why I want a Stop Saw.

Well here is the monitoring unit I plan to use. It will bring the USB ports to the front along with the firewire. There is a temperature display to watch the CPU. And there are 2 fan controls.

Things are really looking good. Dark Stain will make this look better.

Is that the front controller from a Thermaltake Xaser I see?

You've got some very nice routing skills there Tale G.

I got that front controller from Thermatake for another project (Hardcano 10). It is the exact one fron the Xaser case though. Thank you.

Sorry about not commenting, I've been busy for the last few days. Sorry to hear about the injury, sounds pretty bad. Hope you can get back to working soon. All the updates are looking sa-weet. Keep it up man. :thumb:

someone suggested custom bezels for things like dvd & that thermaltake controller. i think it's an excellent idea. i dont think that thermaltake unit looks too great, it would look better on a black box but the knobs are kinda ugly :eeek:
a nice wood panel with a couple of nice wood knobs would look so nice..... when the lcd is lit up it would look extra nice!
im kinda scared to suggest anything cos the last time i did you ended up in hospital, but the custom bezel idea isn't my idea so you should be safe!
