Damn that's clean. Looks almost like an architect rendering. It kind of scares me... like it's desolate. Good picture.

Looovely blues all the way through broken with an excellent few breaks of green in there.

As Ole says, it's all very sterile. Well apart from the two people. I might prefer it without them.

Now you mention it I do remember seeing the sign saying it was the BP bridge because I instantly wondered why British Petroleum have a bridge in Chicago.

I'm loving the range of blues. From dark and rich to light and silvery, this shot has them all. I actually like the two people on the bridge. They keep the shot from being too sterile, and they provide a nice sense of scale.

    Great shot!

I did photograph it but I'm not sure I like what I got.

Didn't really have very good equipment with me either. This photo was taken with the kit lens on my 300D.

Great exposure and the colours are awesome all over. The people on the bridge don't really work for me, I'd prefer (in this shot at least) for my eye to be looking at the buildings, instead it seems to focus more on the people.

People are definitely too quick to diss the kit lens, I got some pretty nice shots out of mine.

It looks great, I've been there and a couple times and this is a really good picture of it! The lighting in the picture is just perfect, and the color of the sky looks great too, excellent job Jamie.

    Looks great :thumb:

But like you said, more sky would be better.

Sterile but almost sexy at the same time :hip:

BP used to be headquartered (at least in the US) out of Cleveland. Then our governor and mayor acted like pricks to the company and it moved its HQ to Chicago about 8? years ago - we lost a ton of jobs from it. :wallbash: We still call their old HQ the "BP building" over here.

*EDIT: Forgot to say that is a BEAUTIFUL shot. It looks so...cold. If it weren't for the two people, I'd confuse it for a beautiful rendering job!

Kit lens, polarising filter and some photoshop post processing.

I quite like the people but they could be removed ;)
