Righto, I need a replacement case. I've been considering the case, as forementioned in the thread title, would be interested to hear thoughts on this particular case, even better if there is anyone using one. I'm on a bit of a budget at the minute so any suggestions would need to be around the same mark. I chose this case because I need something roomy (for the larger cards) something sturdy (for travelling and child - proofyness) and also something that has reasonably good cooling. I am aware that the Chieftec Aegis does not come supplied with fans, although if it did they would be replaced with much better/quieter fans anyway. Basicly, are there any similar sized, built and priced cases out there that will be more suited to my needs listed above? The Aegis comes in 2 varieties afaik, this is the particular one in consideration, FYI: Used the magical search function not quite what I was looking for..
The old Chieftec cases used to be built like tanks, i'm not sure about their new ones but looking at the bottom of your picture it looks like more of the same except with fancy panels.
For its price it will be really hard to find something so spacious and covered from the front. Cheaper could be only Thermaltake Mambo or Soprano but much less space in there. I would also take in to consideration this product: Fractal Design R2 (Black Pearl is my favorite one). It should be fine even with Radeon 5970.
