sounds like its been sinking for some months now , shame but as said before i feel sorry for the people who will have to try and get hard earned cash back from this bloke . if he was-is having problems why not close untill he sorts his head and shop out . then start from afresh ....... i still think his link on the forum should be removed so as not to damage the bit-tec name (thats were i got the link from) and if (very big if) he is honest and such a good bloke , why dont he post on this forum telling us what went wrong ..

No problem couzo and certainly no hard feelings.....just glad you understand that after re reading your post that it did sound like we might not have had honourable intensions which has never been the case.

Thanks for clearing it up all the same :thumb:

What exactly would that be? Im not going to get into the middle of a situation that I know little about except for what I read here. If Bit-Tech wants to post something or comment on an offical level that is totaly up to them..

My only suggestion would be for people to have their money protected when they spend it online, either through a charge back option or something such as paypals transaction protection..

something must be badly wrong? understatement.
such as keeping the site open for new orders with no chance of them being shipped. the only conclusion i have is he needs money, and he is getting it. I gave up 2 months ago with chill-tek but at least VISA didnt let me down.

    dOOds! Sounds familiar...

Man... this thread is long. Just a tip here but net scams like this are common. I have been in this similar situation B4 and it is: U order stuff...U get nothing...U call or email..U get stalled with promises...U call back...U get no replies..U wait...finally a reply with a legitimate excuse(or so U think)...more promises and waiting.... What I think is this guy might have some parts he posts on his site but only like 2 cases or some lights or real common stuff just to keep up apperences so he can take others for the big $$ items. I have a rule ...it's called 3 strikes and then call the credit card company and send them all your emails and communications so they can get you your $$ back. No matter how good the guys excuses are it's a stall. Don't kid yourselves a second longer. He might close up shop and then that's it.

Sorry to offened anyone ,I really don't mean to it's just that i've been there and since everyone on this site has been great to me and I don't want U guyz to waste any more time with excuses. U have given this guy plenty of time to comply. Call your card company immediatly and take action
    Take care ,
    good luck
    X

I think we should go for the longest thread time!!! :D

I still don't understand why people are not getting there stuff I have ordered loads of things from cases to water cooling equipment and got it all. I know people think there are a lot of complaints but you will always get a few complaints about a company no matter what you do I should know working for a customer service company, that reminds me I got to get to work!!!

    Argh *Sigh*

Just ordered something 5 days ago and not heard anything. Thankfully once again it was not a lot of money. I do wonder if it is worth their while to complete these orders but it still annoys the hell out of me when I have been waiting for my kit.

Just a little update on this company.

He is up to his old tricks... a month ago I baught some stuff off him and still nothing... I rang... e-mailed... wrote letters to him... almost everything.
Turns out DEBIT cards an't insured so he skamed me out of 30 quid...

Ok back to the point I rang up 5 min ago and got through!!! Was on the line with the phone ringing for 2 hours... must have hit a nerve.

Of first impression: A woman answered.... and no company name sead... :eyebrow:
Me: Hi I would like to talk to the owner of chill-tek.com
    Woman: What is it about?
Me: I regret to inform that he has taken payment for the goods total of 30 pounds and not delivored for over a month now. And we are beging legal action for a re-fund.
Woman: Oh. Well he does not live here any more :eyebrow: :jawdrop:

Ok that was a kick in the teath... I wonder if his bank will apresheate that he is no longer at that address and would freez the account :hehe:

Anyhow back to world pay and argue with them for a bit.
