if the PC continues to boot afteward, http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=831426
there is also a hotfix to delete, but I cant remember which one :p

if it doesn't continue to boot (like my machine), I can't really help ya but my problem was buggered network drivers for my Asus a7n8x deluxe, so try booting without the network cable plugged in, plug in when booted, go into network connections, dis and enable the connection (I had to do this to get on the internet) and update yer drivers :)
