We've got a list going in the office now based on our fetish for Boosts. The premise is; which chocolate bars can you use to suck up tea though if you bite the ends off the bar - and which ones taste the best.

So far, we've tried it with Twix - which are OK - and Boosts, which didn't work but tasted nice afterwards. Anyone care to help us expand the list?

All you have to do is have a hot cup of tea and the chocolate bar of your choice. Bite the ends off the bar and then, with one end submerged in tea, suck the other end. The tea should come through if you suck hard enough, melting the bar as it goes. When it all starts to fall apart then just pop the chocolate in your mouth!

    Pics!

    mmmm

    • Boost - No, but tastes better
    • Twix - Yes, caramel goodness & biscuit provides base for tea to rise.
    • Kit Kats - Apparently awesome
    • Twirl - Also very good, but limited suckage time (10 seconds)
    • Milky Way - "Potential", yet to be confirmed
    • Galaxy - no central cavity to draw liquid up into
    • Breakaway - "Potential" (of awesomeness), yet to be confirmed
    • Penguin - Requires specific technique: Bite off corners of the penguin (e.g. top left and bottom right) and suck that way. Extra feature: "suck until the first bit of tea hits your mouth and then eat the whole thing in one", however it needs comparative testing with "continue sucking until nothing is left inside". See - Tam tam slam
    • Flake and Galaxy Ripple - more potential, confirmation needed, possible seepage and they don't last long. *NB: Fridge used first* Confirmed that it didn't fall apart, it can work but it might depend on how the flake is made whether you get a hole or not. Recommended making a hole yourself or cutting in half.
    • Milky Way Crispy Rolls - "lots of potential" but needs confirmation of experience
    • Crunchie - "BRILLIANT"
    • Aero - Needs confirmation
    • Blue Ribband - Has been known to break apart on the underside stemming tea flow
    • Pink Wafers/Caramel Wafers

this is the most valid, relevant and pressing scientific endeavour of our time. i applaud your efforts and that of future participants.

(i don't drink tea and rarely eat chocolate bars so i'm gonna have to observe this, albeit with a tearful eye and chest swollen with pride)

It can be achieved with penguins pretty efficiently, but they're not long enough :(

You can get about 10 seconds out of a Twirl before it disintegrates.

That sound? That was Bindi gasping in joy.

I won't say what his reaction was to the idea of a Galaxy Ripple, but he was standing next to be and I felt a strange poking sensation in my left hip when he said it...:eeek:

    Penguin method:

Bite off corners of the penguin (e.g. top left and bottom right) and suck that way. IMO the thing to do is suck until the first bit of tea hits your mouth and then eat the whole thing in one, but I'm sensing people will argue against that. Comparitive testing please? I want a full bit-tech investigation - with graphs!
