Hi, i wanna buy a good gamer card like 4870-gtx260 moreless. The main problem is that i want one with digital vrm, to dont get squeal(coil whine,buzz ..), I returned the XFX gtx260 because i got that problem. May someone tell me what model of 4870 get with dvrm thanks.
I have a BFG Geforce 260 GTX, and the only vrm is when the system power up during video card boot-up. You this (very quiet computer). - System power up - Video card, "bzzzzp" [1sec delay] "bzzzzp" [form there no more sound] - BIOS screen appears on screen - Windows boot. ... and the sound produced by the video card are not loud at all.. in fact anything will cover up the sound. The only reason I hear it is because my CPU fan doesn't turn at room temperature (or anything under 37C). You can try the newer models of the Geforce after the 280GTX (or maybe the newer 260's or 280's... I don't know0), the main board of the video card should have this resolved, and faster boot up.
