ok im choosing a new motherboard i was just wondering which technology's or features i should look out for.
Oh and also should i ensure its crossfire ready? I've seen some benchmarks and it looks like crossfire dose not really yield that much of a performance boost at least enough to justify the price ? thanks. choosing

So, when picking a new mobo, I really only need two things. Which CPU I'm going to use, and the overall purpose of the computer.

Are you going with an AMD or Intel CPU?

Is this primarily for gaming? Storage? General "office use"? With this decision you can figure out the other aspects you're looking for in a motherboard. How many SATA connections you may need, what chipset you will require, if you're recycling parts (Like RAM), etc.
