Hi guys Posted this in a new thread as I thought it would attract more relevant information and be a little more specific than my build thread. I have finally narrowed it down to two cases and I'm looking for opinions from folk who own either (or both) or have seen them physically or have any helpful advice or views regarding the two cases: CM Storm Enforcer Case or the NZXT H2 I am happy to say that I have ordered the rest of my build from Scan now with x2 items on pre-order. I've also pre-ordered my Hazro HZ27WC on special offer for £358 from the Hazro website direct, with the special glass screen. So now all I have to do is wait...and receive your views on the above two cases and then I'll be sorted! Thanks in advance!
In my opinion, if you are going to spend that amount on a case, then get yourself a Fractal Design Define R3, a much better case than both the Coolermaster and the NZXT. Bit-Tech review's. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2011/08/18/cm-storm-enforcer-review/1 http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2011/05/03/nzxt-h2-review/1 http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/2010/10/29/fractal-design-define-r3-review/3 http://www.ebuyer.com/236437-fractal-design-define-r3-black-pearl-case-fd-ca-def-r3-bl
+1 to this I got the r3 as an upgrade and it was so much better to build in and as I have my pc in my bedroom im surprised how quiet it is
The main bugbear I have with the r3 is that because its an older case it doesn't have a USB 3 socket on the front panel. Is there an updated version of it around? My other alternative is to go for a P183 v3 which is similar and does have the USB 3 socket.
I just re-read this...an upgrade from what...and better compared with what? Thanks True...but then its no longer useful...the door needs to be open as a result so you may as well use the back panel.
I could live with it....some of the hi-def pictures look quite good...I just can't find it in the champagne colour...the black version looks grim indeed (thats what scan has...:/0)
Fractal design do a USB 3 upgrade for the Define R3, ill try and source a link. edit: Forget that, quiet pc have usb3 define r3's in stock http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/products/pc-cases/fd-definer3
Now that IS epic! Thanks a lot! +Rep Man - I'm all set then! ps. Now anyone have a grey/white version...? I'm wanting to know whether its just the outer section thats that colour or whether its black on all of them...just so I pick the right colour for my DVD writer/player. Thanks Damn just saw this on the site: It looks awesome! AeroCool X-Predator
Bitfenix Merc/Outlaw, just use a bunch more of the Bitfenix fans in there to keep it quiet? I've been looking at the Outlaw for my next case, if only because this Phantom is annoyingly loud, despite it's benefits. (Srsly, the Bitfenix 140's are completely silent at full speed. It's Black Magic!)
LOL...but why? Looks are debatable but you gotta say it does LOOK like a gaming computer! And the front panel area looks very polished. And its at for only £105 at rebel gagdets...http://rebelgadgets.com/product/920/aerocool-x-predator-evil-black-orange-ultimate-gaming-case.html This is annoying....why I can't I just pick one!! LOL t2 those cases look cool, first one is like a rocket booster, second like a truck (are those hinges hydraulic? ). The toilet is hilarious!
the second 1 was upposed to look like a bulldozer i think and the toilet - you just got to have 1 for the comedy factor IMO it would be rude not to lol
I have the silver arrow version, the inside is all black as is the outside, the hdd trays are white and the door is silver, im pretty sure they are all the same (obviously different colour front doors) apart from the white pearl which im sure is completely white inside and out. Edit: Yep, the arctic white version is completely white inside as-well, the sound deadening, front fan bay doors and hdd trays are all black.
