Original story So no and no then, hmmm? This brings up an interesting point I've been wanting to make for a while. We've discussed how torture doesn't work, how it diminishes our standing in the world, etc etc, but there is one fundamental truth that Nexxo brought up that i think needs to be expounded upon. Fundamentally, being the good guy means being willing to accept a greater risk of being attacked rather than engage in conduct that is wrong. What no one has been willing to say is that they would prefer to suffer another 9-11 than to commit acts of torture if said acts might prevent an attack. Americans like being the good guy as long as it doesn't cost them anything.
Nice to know that they really got the Christian message. Perhaps they think that crucifixion is just some weird physical workout programme.
crucifixion, torture, ridicule, getting banned when help & guidance is so obviously desperately needed, tamato, tomato..
I sense a bit of anger? It you are referring to CK, he wasn't fired; he quit. And this is a forum, not: Hey, nobody said we were Christian.
I was talking about Michael Hayden actually, but now that you mention ck, well no, im not angry, if anything i feel sorry for the kid lol at the logo, it's a little mean but i guess for planning to watch porn while you drive, you kinda deserve that much i guess[/threadjack]
