You can use the breaker for your power switch, but it's not good for the breaker.

1: Breakers were designed as safety devices, not switches.
2: What does it say on the box? Are they different colors?

AC voltage comes in the forum of a sin wave, so -v and +v don't exsist!

Have you ever plugged a lamp in backwards, or some other apliance? If you live in the US (I think that it is the same in canada) , it works.

Now, I'm not going to take the time to explain about sine waves, and AC voltage, because you should already know that.

Besides, it is a switch, if you close it, there is contact, and the switch is open!

But as viridius said, probibly not good for the breaker, though...

ATX powerswitches are momentary, they make contact once breifly and the Motherboard takes care of the rest. Im not sure how a normal spst switch (thats what a breaker is with some fancy stuff to make it break teh ciurcuit above some set current) would work.(if you leave it on for 5 seconds the computer will reastart.)

+V -V dont exist so connect it any way you like.

Breakers are saftey devices they are designed to be switched as little as possible. through continued use the breaker switch mechanisim will break and cease to function.

I dont think so I just think your puter would turn on wait 5 seconds then restart. on second thought That might damage your hard drive or somthing rapidly cycling power like that, but.....

Somebody did this with a normal switch and it worked turned it on like it should, I dont know if he just cycled the switch or something.. I havent done it.
