cl 2.0 or 2.5

    i now have Apaccer 512 Mb DDR-Ram cl 2.5 i can replace it with the corsair cl 2.0 should i I think so but wat do you think ???

    Try running your current RAM at CL2 . It may well take it. I have Crucial CL2.5 ram in mine running at CL2 no probs. I f your RAM is of any decent quality it should do it Ok! Mind you, Corsair does have a reputation as being great quality itself!

    i also run my ram at cas2 while its rated at cas 2.5

    try it out and if its unstable change it back and then get the corsair....:idea:

    but if you can run kwalitie cl 2.5 at 2.0

    can you run kwalitie cl 2.0 at 1.5 ???

    ps the cooling on the corsair is it show or dous it raily help or have a use ???

    It is unlikely that you will have that option, but if you do, you could certinly try it. However, major performance increases in everyday usage are probably likely to be negligible!

    will only make a difference if you do a lot of overclocking or you have very high system temps...

    its designed with looks in mind - those heat spreaders do next to nothing.
