Loving the combination. Can't wait to see it being finalised and in your system.
Well,It should be done tomorrow hopefully....depending on how much tea i forcefeed to Justin and Shaun.
That res is going to look sweet in the case, very nice how the AquaAero is included in the front.
And damn at that waterblock on the mobo...so nice
Thanks Bee,off to PARVUM in the morning to get this started...while im plumbing something for them
The Monsoon kit has arrived and they were not lying, its a fantastic kit!
Bend quality is great too.
And the airbrush paint arrived,a Wicked Colors Pearl White, for the stencil on the front, definitely going to have a play with that tomorrow....
I really need to clean the dust of the cam sensor......I hate doing it,it scares me with my hands of meat....
Love the look of the kit, how much did that set you back?
Nothing,Monsoon sent me one after reading my (extensive) acrylic 101 on OCN,Im glad they want to help out,Monsoon have been really innovative with the range of fittings and tooling for acrylic users.
Oh major result
I like that res B Negative, great work and that Monsoon bending kit screams beauty to me!
The kit was well worth the wait.
The res design is currently with PARVUM,they have a free reign to do whatever for ease of manufacture
A clam shell body is looking likely as 25mm acrylic is cheaper by far than the thicker varieties.
If you are ever in the London area then you should look them up for a cuppa.
Hey BNeg, I didn't even know about those bending guides, looks like they would be useful - I think you just cost me money!!
Haha nice man!
I just 3D printed this the other day with the same purpose as the thing you got. Just didn't know they where already made in metal
I like that, you could even print the mandrels like one of the OCN guys did, worked well from what we saw.
So the first coat for the stencil is done,an opaque white, the next step is to touch in the sprues and then a dusting of Pearl white to give it some sparkle.
Sorry for this one,its a bit wonky...
Once that all dried off then I am going to trace round the logo with a Rotring tech pen in black.
Im debating whether to track the logo over the buttons too, these buttons are not staying as they dont match and I dont like the red dot in the reset button....Im trying to find some touch sensitive buttons but thats proving difficult.
So,when we hit the paint with some daylight we get......
That is really, really nice.
Sir, if that is wonky, then I like wonky, no wait, I LOVE wonky.
Thanks! I must admit, its on the workbench behind me...I cant help but turn and look at it occasionally....
Only the pic is wonky...I forgot to set the mount for the camera properly.
Blending the IO buttons in..I am not satisfied with these so im glad it was just fun run, these are not going to be used I think....
Nice touch, but I can guess why you want to change them. Fingers removing the paint and future rotation probably won't help the situation.
You get it.....plus it looks a bit....contrived? It doesnt sit well with me for some reason.
Im regretting doing the paint so early.......
Still,im hoping one of these behind some painted plexi in the holes, flush mounted, may yet save the day here and ......moar touch activated things.
