Maybe this topic has been done before, but what are your favorite old time games? Mine would have to be Doom, Rise of the Triad, the Original Command and Conquer, and Secret of Monkey Island.

Ultima7/8, Transport Tycoon, Syndicate, Kings Quest, Quest for Glory, and a top down scrolling flying shooter of which I can remember the name.

ah the good old days. Theres probably less than a dozen games made in the last 10 years that I've enjoyed as much as those. :sigh:

Zone 66 (I think this might be what Tad is referring to as well, though there are a lot of top-down flying games), Zork, Lemmings, Scorched Earth, and X-COM: UFO Defense.

Well, this is a tough question i must say, and as its stuck in the PC sections, its even tougher, however, i will say for PC it would be the Original C&C and obviously C&C Red Alert, as for a console, nothing lives upto good old Sonic on the old Sega Game Gear and Sega Mega Drive.
Oh the good old days :sigh:

How did I forget MechWarrior?! The seminal Force-Feedback Joystick game was MW3, I played that game, quite literally, to death. Awesome.
