How do I go about cleaning some smudges off of the LCD screen on my laptop? Will just any ordinary cleaner like Windex work with some lintless cloth?

Also, what do I need to use to clean my touch pad? Can I use any harsh chemicals like acetone to really clean it or should I stick with Windex or something else a little less stong?

    Thanks for your help!!!

Pick up some Monitor Wipes (or similar product). They are like baby wipes for your PC monitors - safe for laptop screens....says so right on the container. You can also use this on your touchpad although a alcohol wipe would work just as well there too. I would use liquid of any kind on your laptop screen - it could run to the bottom of the LCD and wick up under it - making it look nasty.
