Hey i'm going to be putting some LED's attached to an acrylic sidepanel (think binary clock or spectrum analyser like anemone) and I'm trying to go for that deep black look, so I want to put the leds in resin right on the sidepanel, but I don't know if it will fjork anything up or get foggy or something. If anyone has had experience doing this with acrylic, please give ur info, or if u even know a better way to mount them, but they must be well supported w/out making a cut in the acrylic(seamless).

    Thanks!

Well, I have seen Polyurethane used to make molded solid pieces. It's cheap, availiable in bulk at any Hardware store, and easy to use. Also 100% Clear.

It WILL take a decent amount of time to get SOLID if your mold is thick though.

    See, like this: http://www.alt-gifts.com/shop/index2/page/shop/s_flypage/product_id/2057

People used to make a square form and put knick-knacks in the bottom. Then fill with Polyurethane and let it harden. Voila! Peices are permanently set into the solid clear Polyurethane when it hardens. :D
