i had a big shelf full of old childrens books i hadent thrown out, not in any order, just thrown on so i did not kno what was on there as i didnt bother looking, so there i am gettign these books down as i need the space & i horde too much stuff & i did not want to throw them away, the only thing that allowed me to get them off the shelf was they were going to charity, still sad though one of the few remaing bits of childhood i kept hold of (apart from the scalectrix track of course) plus my parents are giving me hassle "your going to be 19 in september its time you got a job & though about moving out" well she has a point but im not moving out until i can afford a decent place to live

the only problem is now i wanna family of my own, sorry im typing absoloute gibberish, (yes i can hear you all say but whats the difference from what i type)

ok the reason i started my post (took me a while to get there) is it just me or did anyone else feel sad letting the last parts of there childhood go?

probably just me but then agian i am a total wierd (you can all tell mi pathetically single cat you )

I remember proper tech lego - I had a pnumatic JCB / Digger, first model to use the cylinders. None of this namby pamby compressor marlarkey for us - no, it was all manual! :p

I also used to have the old V6 racing car, and you had to build the engine block out of normal legos bits, and the cylinders where square to fit! And the suspension dampers had to be put together as well!

Not like the Lego F1 car I've go now which is all custom parts...:D

Unfortunately, all my legos were given away by my mom to my nephew. But, I can still appreciate can't I.

Has anyone run across the Lego Star wars Collector's series? I saw an xwing fighter on ebay and teh kit came out to like 1-1/2 ft long!

Man I had the sweetest Lego sets ever, and loads of cool kick-ass toys but my parents made me give them to my younger brothers who obviously didn't appreciate them that much 'cause everything is destroyed now :(
I still buy toys and Lego now though, and I'm almost 26, lol

Lego's? there were no such things when i was a kid... we had Erector Sets...Big boxes of metal bits and tons of screws/nuts. Stepping on lego's in the dard really hurts...but these things drew serious amounts of blood when stepped on :D :D
