    you know that windows gives you the option of remember passwords when you put in your screen name for instance on a website, is there anyway of clearing that list and starting again, i've got so many things where i've miss typed screen-names and its saved them all!

    I don't use IE, but isn't those passwords just in the cookies? Just clear the cookies while your clearing your temporary folders

    Normally you can just hover over the entries in the list and press delete, sometimes it's shift-delete.

    You can clear them all by going to:

    tools->internet options->content->auto complete.

    I didn't know about deleting indivdual ones though that's great!

    Oh, and btw we all know it's cos you don't want people seeing what you've been googling for ;) :naughty:

    Cookies log you in automatically ("Remember me"), some sites (shops, etc) ask for the username & password every time. Firefox has them on a list you can hide from other people with a Master Password; you have to enter it once per session.

    Search & Form history are a different system.
