For anyone who hasn't seen this yet, ClearPC is selling their clear case for $99 USD for a limited time. Just thought if you were looking at a clear case, and didn't want to build your own, you might like to check it out. :naughty:

man, that's tempting... even if you aren't in the market for one at the moment... would be wise to snatch one up... **inspects lint inside of wallet*

Not saying that I wouldn't want to build my own...but since I lack the time, the tools, and the talent (the 3 T's of modding? ), the clearPC would be my way to go.

hehehehe... that should be a modder's T-shirt... "How many T's have you got?"

that could get you slapped in a bar... more reason to make a few.. maybe put a picture of a dremel and goggles just to make it more confusing.

They're pretty good except for the expansion card bracket which is terrible! I had to remove the metal piece from the back of my GF4 just to get it in the slot, then its almost impossible to screw the damn cards in!

    i did a review on www.phlux.co.uk some where... :)

basically the card holder is rubbish, the power button is ugly, the leds aren't bloo and you only get one fan grill even though it has 2 blowholes.

The cover for the 5.25" bays is one single piece of plexi that covers 3 bays so you can only have either one 5.25" drive or 4! Also, there are nowhere near enough standoffs (unless lazy ate some LOL!). I'm not too bothered about the lack of rear fan grill, because I'm not likely to get anything in there. It's also not as easy to scratch as you would think. I built the system into it without a great deal of care or effort and managed to get everything in without a single noticable scratch.

my clear case only had bolt holes for the floppy drive on the right hand side. I noticed someone elses case who had pics in these forums also had them missing. And yes the card holders are naff. Bit tricky to mount mboard.

They got a new version of their case that looks tempting... their new and improved 3 bay cover comes ready so that you can snap it into individual bay covers if you need to. also they do colored clear cases. im checking with them on pricing

can you spot the removable motherboard tray? thats a plus!

Oh wow, I need a new case too. I was gonna get a LianLi but a clear case for only $100 sounds really good. Oh no, what do I do now, this is such a dilema. Anyone have anymore suggestions if I should get this case or get LL??? I dont know which would be better now, this clear one would be cheaper though, so thats a plus. And I dont know anyone around here who has one. But I would have to tidy my cables really good. Oh my, what am I gonna do..... :sigh:

Wait a minute, so thats just a pc60 without the removable tray? Well, give it to me then. Crap, for that 60 bucks I save I can mod the crap out of it, lol. :D

Edit: typos and holy cow, they have great prices there, thanks Phire :D

I was going to post about this as well :) I was trying to decide if the clear pc @$100 was worth getting now or if I should save up more for the C3 clear computer case. Even though the base C3 ($180) plus all the extras I want ($50) is over twice as much, I think I am going to wait. The C3 seems to be MUCH better constructed plus they have a blue tinted version that is UV reactive! And you gotta love the 120mm front intake that will come in handy for cooling a little watercooling rad if I ever go that way :)
