Not fair oliver. Using lasers and industrial heating elements to build test rigs. Test rigs should be gnarly. Salvaged beige boxes from the mid-80's or even empty cardboard boxes. They shouldn't be stylish. I kid. Seriously nice work and congrats on getting some $ for your talents.
005 arrived at its owner today - a bencher. Here are some pics he sent me (yes it lights up when it BSODs lol)
O rly! any idea where your going to be stuck living yet? I know they have been building some awesome student flats in the centre, every time I see them I think "jammy bloody students" lol
Well it´s a shame because i wanted one Can you give me some design or something so i can do this in laser? But i wanted a version like that benctech but saying Raiden , it would be perfect for my testing
Editor: Richmond Terrace, it is really close to Clifton. That is my first choice, the second is 3km out from the uni, halls called Durdham. Richmond Terrace seems perfect for me - 97 residences in flats of 4-7 and 10 minute walk from the Computer Science block. Raiden, thanks I want to keep onto the designs if you don't mind - havn't given up entirely on getting them made somewhere.
Who did you make the benchtec one for?! loving the benchtec one! Is it possible to make another benchtec one? Edit: Was it EL Gappo? only a guess from looking at the hardware
Yeah it was Gappo Not possible to make another, sorry. Just waiting for my PSU to come before i can fire up Clemens 001 properly:
Beautiful work, having the space left under the ssd the perfect size to keep the xbox controller just takes the biscuit.
Damn Clifton is a nice area man possibly one of the nicest in Bristol plus you have a whole heap of awesome bars going from park street and all the up white ladies road... really is in the heart of it! Hve to hook up for a brewski when you get down and chat geeky for a few hours lol
WOW, great job... love the desing, nothing i've seen before, its great! Just a comment: if you sleeve psu's molex, will be amazing and will be more clean... Anyway, excellent idea and work
Yeah Editor we must meet up 6481: This PSU is just temporary so i won't be sleeving it - infact the entire tech bench is temporary whilst i finish my other project
Nice and clean work. I like it. Little OT: what is that Samson stuff you have there (shown in 3rd and 4th post)? Diy active speaker/sub/guitar amp?
