I've still got 2 of 8 clients working, soon to be none I expect. @DocJonz, your HFM uploads appear to have stopped yesterday afternoon as well.
I've had a few clients kick back in overnight. @Shirty - I didn't spot that one, thanks ... the joys of Win10 doing its own reboot for you (!)
A few clients overnight, but not much. Just had a look at other team production rates. "Default (Team 0)" has gone through the roof with production. I assume lots of people encouraged to help by COVID 19 outbreak. Other team around us (except LinusTechTips) follow a very similar pattern in graph shape- down.
My 1080 picked up a WU but my two Quadro's are still idle :/ sad times hopefully over night they kick in.
As Shirty and desertbaker have said, it is the influx of new folders wanting to help with Corona virus WUs leaving less work to go around. Our team, until last week, had a steady 77 active users. That number went up a bit last week. Now it has leapt up and we have 130 this morning. Almost double. 16 new members and 53 who have resumed folding after being inactive. Also, the Stanford Forum says a cloud computers-for-hire company has started folding on their GPUs. Also, I imagine most new chums will be Anonymous team 0.
Let's hope that at least some of the new and reinstated folders stick with us after the hype has died down
Yea I resumed after killing my previous GPU. Only have a GTX960 that hasn't seen a single WU. CPU picked up 1 WU yesterday and 2 the day before. Other than that the system has been sitting mostly idle
Got the server up and running and it's got through one CPU WU. Sadly sitting idle now, as is the 1060 in it. Desktop is powering through at least.
Got 2 WU's on the CPU so far today. However nothing on the GPU. Starting to wonder if there is another issue at play.
No, that sounds about right. If you're very lucky then a reboot might grab you some extra work, but it's chaos.
I tried to restart only the client keeps spazzing out [which is why i stopped the last time]. So i'm with y'all in spirit... fold dem proteins.
That's a relief. After reading about Nvidia driver issues I done a fresh client and GPU drivers install after completing the last WU. Guess back to waiting and see if something arrives
Looks like it's slowly stabilizing - Seen on the forum they are spinning up a few servers in Azure to cope.
As previous people have pointed out it appears to be a server end issue due to the influx of new folders. Restarting the client does sometimes does give a new server to get a WU however I think it's just going to take sometime for the FAH team to catch up with the new demand of WU's.
All mine up and running and recently handed in a Unit and picked another straight up. Shirty is back up par 2. Doc's half up.
