Clocks back/Anybody else have technology problems?

This morning the Tosh video was an hour out with the BST->GMT change, so I set it right (to GMT), discovered the auto clock-set feature, and left it on. On the hour, it automatically reset its time to an hour later (back to BST). Tried again, on the next hour back to BST it went.

'Just Clock' system = teh pitz. :miffed:

Disagree. Since you never actually hit 2am. They change at the point between 1.59.59am and 1.00.00am.

I did get some overtime tho...

Good thing for me is all the clocks in my office now tell the correct time. UTC sucks because when BST is around and I am sat at work at 7am, the clocks in my office remind me that the real time would be 6am. :waah:

Depends where you're at, if you're as far north and west as I am (55n 06w), it gets dark at about 11pm during the summer and about 5pm in the winter, then again during the winter it doesnt get light til 8am :(
If they kept BST it wouldnt get light till nearly 9am :(

Same here. In the far north of Scotland, some nights it barely gets properly dark for an hour before starting to get light again, in high summer. Whereas in winter it'll be dark at 3pm till 9am sometimes....and will often never get properly bright. Summers make up for it, but if you suffer from SAD it might be worth looking into a lightbox.

My mum gets SAD, she has a few of those "almost like sunlight" lightbulbs to help.

Hmm.. I feel almost lucky. Not that I care when it gets light, I'm asleep anyways, but IIRC it's at least visibly light (not really sunrise though) by 6:30am or so. As for dark... maybe 5:30 or so. 45N or so, for the record.

The further south you go the more moderate it all is. Its a trade off, do you prefer really long summer days and short winter ones, or just average everything.

That extra hour was a good send. It mean't I got two hours and a half sleep last night rather than an hour and a half.

LoL, Spiral Architect, nice avatar. But you might want to watch it as I don't really think it's appropriate.
