allright, im sure many of you have heard of the Bay Res reservoir that fits inside a 5 1/4" bay anyways, i was recreating it using weldon3 to glue the seams of the plexi, as i thought that the measurements would be much more accurate as if i used a hotwire to bend the plexi into the general outline, top bottom 2 sides, and use the weldon3 and not having to compensate for the bends anyways, if u understood that k so im going aboot my day with my clamps and my plexiglass and using the weldon 3 all is good, drilled the 2 holes for the barbs, etc. then it came to the critical test, i thought that id test for air leaks rather than filling it with water and having a bloody mess. so i plug one barb and blow into the other and feel around the seams and omg i found one on the corner so i probly went through a good teaspoon of weldon3 into 1 bloody corner and still couldnt seal it. OUT WITH THE SILICONE and yes, you know how easy carried away one could get with it so i put a small blob on the corner, damnit, still leaks, so i put a h00ge blow on the corner and finally its sealed, feel around for more air leaks and my god another one on the edge, and this carried on untill i silliconed and weldon3'd about a half dozen and the maggats still kept popping up so i thought to hell with it and i threw it right out the 3 storey shop window, went and picked it up and was peed when i found out that the piece of crap withstanded a 3 storey fall, but wont seal a bloody leak so i stomped on it didnt survive that now did it? rot in hell bayres **sorry, but u know how these failed mods can get quite emotional
hey ive thrown numerous computer cases out of a 3storey window before it just so happens that my teachers son works at one of the leading stores in this area for selling computers, and they get lots of returned cases in shipping and for just normal sales because the power switch broke or theres a broken clip, and they just write em off, he takes em home, gives em to his dad whom gives em to me, i mod them, if things go wrong or it looks ugly, it goes for a ride, just to see what happens ive seen alot of cases crumple, and the steel ones hold up pretty good tho im waiting for a lian-li to come through so i can take it for myself
