Close to destruction

    I finally found out why my processor was running at 55c, the heat sink want touching it all the way, im lucky i did not screw up my processor now it runs at 30 c idle and 35 c working hard :D

    Close to descruction??

    I used to have 2400+ that ran at 70*c...
    Now mine runs at 45*c load.

    No offence to either of you, but what's the point in this thread? There's not really much to discuss, only how we've all managed to lower our temps by using X method instead of outdated method Y. :confused:

    is very important a low temperature for life of your cpu is raccomandly max 55-60 °c for long life of this.use a good cpu fun and use case fun.by :D :D :D

    glad you found your problem. some how the other day my temps droped 10 degrees. i dunno what i did but i noticed that it was idleing at 25C and when i run Seti@home it only goes up to 35C. hell a couple months ago i was like 45c idle and just short of 60c under load. i really dunno what happend but im happy that its cold now.
