Meguiar's PlastX is stuff of sorcery! I will elaborate on this with a longer post when I'm in front of my laptop in a while. [edit] I restored the lights on my van after I bought it. Not because they were clouded; the headlights were lightly stone chipped and wash marred, the tail lights were badly wash marred. The process for the headlights was wet sanding with 2000 then 3000 grit sandpaper to remove the stone chips, then polish with Meguiar's PlastX with my G220 V2 DA on a microfiber cutting pad. I don't have photos of them to hand, but I do have some shots of the tail lights. This time the process didn't involve any sanding, just Meguiar's PlastX on a cheap 6" microfiber cutting pad with my Meguiar's G200 V2 DA polisher. The results speak for themselves. After I took these photos and finished the correction, I sealed all of the lights using CarPro DLUX silane sealant, which offers protection against both UV fading and physical damage. This process only took about 30 minutes per light (excluding the synthetic sealant which takes 24 hours in warm, dry conditions to cure) and left me with gleaming lights which look brand new.
