Sorry, but due to recent currency value changes Topre switches do no longer justify such a premium price.

Full size Topre on amazon Japan for around £105.

Once you add in the extra VAT you still end up far below £150.

(of course amazon.jp insists on using the most expensive shipping option for international orders, so you'll need a friend there to order it and send it by sane price post, but the point remains and Cooler Master is likely to have purchased them higher up the food chain anyway).

£1 is now over 170 yen, gone are the dark days when £1 was only 120 yen.

Yes, but how many of those Topre boards from Japan have MX-compatible sliders?

Good review but can't quite agree with that, all those features have been around on membrane boards for years.

Sorry, I should probably be more specific - I know all have been featured but very, very rarely, if at all with more than two of these features on a single keyboard, whereas this is commonplace on mechanical keyboards. Obviously there are plenty with either hubs or backlighting, or dedicated media controls but having two or more of these features is far, far more common on mechanical keyboards - you have far more choice if these features are important. Pretty sure USB 3 hubs have only appeared on mechanical keyboards too for example. If you can find me a decent membrane keyboard that's available now with backlighting, a USB hub and dedicated media controls then I'm all ears ;)

The correct use of 'alluded' eludes your writers.

I'm still rocking the Raptor K1...even after 9 years it's still freaking awesome. No frills, practically indestructible, compact....it's outlasted every keyboard my friends have bought and since I have no use for media keys, macros or fancy LEDs I don't see myself replacing it any time soon.

£150 for topre switches with MX keycaps is not bad price I think.
TKL topre costs above £200 and we have limited choice of caps for them.
This one gives us choice of topre like switches + all MX keycaps we can get, so it's a win I say...
Only if they also made white/grey version...
