Hey all am building a custom pc case from scratch. Was wondering if anyone can recommend a cnc laser router cutting service in Queensland Australia that do one off jobs and reasonably priced have sent drawing to over 20 places and Holland plastics on the gold coast is the only place that has shown interest only problem is price.

To bring the price down to my budget I had to make significant changes to my drawing which I really don't want to do. I want it made from either 4mm aluminium or 4.5 acrylic. Help appreciated cheers.

In general, you should enquire at sign-makers, here in the U.K. many of them use acrylic, and maybe aluminium...

P.S. Over here many schools have laser cutters :dremel:

if you're willing to ship to and from the us, there's an online service called ponoko that will laser cut acrylic pretty cheap. less than $20 usd for a 15 by 15 inch piece.

Thanks for all the posts :). I sent out about 30 email with the parts drawn as 2d dwg files out of all those emails I got 3 replies :-( an d of the 3 I got one at a reseonable price about $400 landed from a place called miles plastics in coloundra for anyone who is interested. The parts use up a full 8x4 foot sheet of 4.5mm acrylic and there is 9 grills in the design so I thought the price was pretty good :) putting down a deposit this week and will pay for the rest this Thurs week.

For my frame I used the quebolok square box aluminium extrusion and the plastic joiners. And I am going to use digital led strips and mini uv Cree spot lights controlled by dmx via pc software freestyle for the case lighting. Will be a 4 loop tri crossfire i7 1155 build. Will be fairly slow build as I have limited funds so when I have the bulk of it done I will post up a build log :) thanks again for the replies cheers!!
