Windows CO-OP games?

ok, me and me mates are going to hold a small lan with about 20 people (close mates) so instead of the standard shoot anything that moves im wanting a game where we basically have us 20 ppl vs the computer in missions, i know theres the BF series and vietcong, but are there any other PC games with large multiplayer co-ops?

Joint ops ... got about 150 people per server I think and some real fun co-op missions

 

Also, get the expansion pack for it too

Far Cry - theres a mod out there called The Far Cry Coop Mod no guesses to what it does ... its on file shack I think

I guess any RTS with teams wud be Co-Op

 

i had some probems with far-cry co-op, one player would spawn with weapons other would not then when we somehow fixed that we had problems with players/enemies not being "seen" by the second player and enemies ignoring co-op players... some maps work some do not, avoid using boats too cos if one of you fall into the water it messes up... too many bugs for me so we playd halo 2 on the xbox... i can still hear betrayed if i close my eyes be warned

 

any of the tribes series. t2 would probably be best actually ... and you can pick it up for about 7.50 nowadays (too bad all the free keys are gone from the free download)

 

joint ops would require all members to own a copy to play online, ie with 150 people. I kind of wonder what your connection would be like sharing it with 20 people too. Unless you create your own server (I think you can do that) but the maps are so big I'm not sure they'd be enjoyable with just 20 users. There's a Doom 3 coop mod out, haven't played it yet though. It sounds a lot like that UT mod I played once, can't remember the name though. It was pretty fun. linky

 

Ive played joing ops with just 1 other person on the cop-op maps and its satill great fun. Most amount of people Ive played with was 6, so yes they are made for 150 or so people but with a few people working as an "Elite Team" then all the maps ave very posible.
