Just a small factual error here - I've noticed in all the reviews that CoD:BO is listed as an OpenGL title in the benchmarks. This is an easy mistake to make. It is true that it was originally built on ID Tech 3, but the last OpenGL CoD was United Offensive. CoDs 2-7 have all used DirectX 7 and 9 (the main difference between CoD1 and CoD2 was the rewriting of the graphics engine). This is why CoD games tend to have directx dlls in the installation directory, and also why you occasionally get directx fatal errors in CoD4 whilst alt-tabbing. It's why the graphics LOD change between CoD1 and CoD2 is so massive, and CoD2/CoD4/CoD5 is less impressive.

Hmm, I always did wonder why it was stated as an OpenGL game. Thanks for clearing that up +rep :thumb:
