Hello, I've got a softwarequestion for COD5. I'm experiencing a strong "flickering" in the clouds or nebula in the distance. They flicker black, the more I move or shoot, the stronger the flickering gets. I've already updated to the latest ATI driver recommended for the X1800XT (Vers. 9.3) and reinstalled the DirectX that came with the game. Also, before first start the game needs extremely long to load (also between levels) but that may be my not too recent system. It's well above the recommended minimum though, and once the game runs, it's fluent (@1280x1024) Any Ideas? Xir
Install direct X from the latest version on the web. Defrag your hdd, that could be causing the long loads, does it happen in any other games? If its just cod5 then it is unlikely to be hardware related. Also what OS?
