Since you provided you location field as USA, then the correct answer is: BG Micro. Head for the category LIT.

Yeah, I think current pricing is $7 for the tubes and $7 for the inverters (sold seprately), still way the hell cheaper than a mod store.

inverters are there # PWR1110. same price as he CCs.

im thinking though, you should probaby get those insured cuz they break really really easily, and shipping ppl are jerks. i remember once, i go this picture for my b-day, and the pox had a huge fragile, glass sticker on it. well i was looking at it and there was a f*cking boot print right ontop of the label! needless to say it was smashed pretty good, but it was ok cuz it was insured for 100 bucks.

brian, i have bought 2 from BG micro and i know several others that have bought over 20 total from BG micro and they come well packed and always intact.

also if you look closely they sell 100mm ccfls also (4") in all the colors. you just need to do a part number search for the invertor for those.

the inverter changes the DC into AC. the ones i have look like lil 1 inch squared PCBs with a few caps and other things on them.

BG Micro packages the ccf bulbs really well, they are rolled up in a foam-like pad and put inside a cardboard tube with caps on both ends. I doubt you need to insure them.

    peace.

if you dont want to assemble your ccfl this guy: http://geocities.com/thelightsguy/ sells complete kits for $23 including toggle and molex.

I bought one of his units (before we knew about bgmicro), its exactly like my bg micro's (same bulb and same invertor part #)

it comes wrapped in bubble wrap and he pre wires the toggle and molex

You'll need a molex connector to wire onto the inveter, to plug it into your psu :)
