    Hi folks,

Just a little heads up - My local Aldi, and these things are normally nationwide, are selling boxes of 20 glue gun sticks for £2.49. 4 colours, (Red, Yellow, Green and Blue) 5 of each colour, Sticks are 11mm dia

Might be some use if you want to colour match your glue and no big deal at that price.

Bugger, would have popped in today if you'd told me earlier!

Actually, they still, in my local ALdi, have some nice gloss colour rattle cans (German made :D) for £2.99 each! Much cheaper than the Hycote cans (£9.80 for a 500ml grey primer and 500ml matte or gloss black) or even Halfords rattle cans. From what I read these cans don't need primer. :)

I've been painting for 18 years-no matter what it says, use primer.

I'd try to toss a glue stick in some fabric dye before buying these. I think it's pretty easy to DIY stain them. -'Cuz we all know BLACK would be the preferred color.:D

Edit: Screw that. It doesn't look like they dye as easy as I thought. Strange stuff... It soaks up color from a nearby crayon, but not from dye.
